A 66-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing shopping bags outside Fusion in Chan Man St, Sai Kung. Senior Inspector Jacky Chan said he is a Tseung Kwan O-resident cleaner believed to be responsible for a series of thefts outside the supermarket.
Jacky said the thief had made a habit of visiting the Sai Kung Fusion from about 10am to 2pm and stealing shopping bags randomly. Many people leave their bags unattended on or near the Fusion staircase. The Sai Kung police operations chief warned residents to be more careful of their belongings.
