P-plated BMW flips on Clear Water Bay Road near Pik Uk; passengers and driver unharmed

A traffic accident occurred on Clear Water Bay Road, Sai Kung around 11:30 am today (12/8). A BMW with a “P plate” was driving along Clear Water Bay Road towards Kowloon and when was near Pik Uk Correctional Institution was suspected that it lost control and overturned, lying on the centre of the carriage way. After the accident, the driver and passengers managed to get out with few problems, and stood by the roadside to call the police for help.

Due to the accident, there was severe traffic congestion until the car was removed.
