The landslide at the rear of the house after heavy rain in September 2023
It is reported that in the afternoon, the occupiers left home but left a bedroom window open for ventilation. Later, when the couple returned, they found that their bedroom had been burgled. The two checked the CCTV and found two male thieves approaching the unit through the hillside and sneaking into the unit through the open window. After committing the crime they escaped through the bedroom balcony.
After checking the information, local media found that during the heavy rain of the century in September this year, a landslide occurred on the hillside opposite the detached house, covering an area of about 50 by 100 metres. The house and adjacent residents needed to be evacuated. Subsequent inspections by relevant departments revealed that there were unauthorised structures on the slope of Block D
