Officers arrested a 31-year-old local man, who was in the van, for trafficking in dangerous drugs. It is reported that the arrested man said that he was unemployed and is currently being detained for investigation. He will later be temporarily charged with one count of “trafficking in dangerous drugs” and will appear in the Kwun Tong Magistrates’ Courts tomorrow morning (3/10).

Preliminary investigations suggest that the man was paid approximately $35,000 to act as a “sidekick” for the drug trafficking syndicate. It is understood that the arrested man was primarily responsible for delivering the drugs to various locations and markets. Law enforcement agencies are working to trace the source of the drugs.
